Technical Support for PC users

Problem: The serial number is not accepted at installation.
Solution: Make sure you are using the serial number of the version you are trying to install. It is important to leave a space between each group of three letters. Example: xxx xxx xxx xxx (do not use dashes between the groups of letters and do not use the keyboard's right arrow key)
Problem: When applying a correction from within Word 7, 97 or 2000 the text is offset or staggered.
Solution: Select Options from the Tools menu in Word. Make sure that the "Typing replaces selection" and "Drag-and-drop text editing" boxes are checked in the Edit tab.
Problem: The Larousse display stays in my screen's background.
Solution:

Modify the display parameters.

- Click on My Computer
- Click on Control Panel
- Click on Display
- Click on the Settings tab
- In the Colors drop-down menu, select 16 Bit
- Click on Apply

Problem: My interface is in English. How can I make it French?
Solution: - Click on the Bilingual Grammar Checker's Preferences menu
- Click on Interface under General
- Select the interface language
Problem: How can I check the translation of a word in the Bilingual Grammar Checker?
Solution: - Select the word to be translated
- Click on the Larousse Bilingual Dictionary icon
- Select the appropriate library (i.e.: Bilingual English-French)
- Select the word you want in the left window and the translation will be displayed in the right window.
Problem: Correcteur does not stop at each sentence:
Solution: - Open Correcteur 101
- Click on the Preferences icon
- Click on Display
- Make sure the "Stop on all sentences" box is checked
