Technical Support for for PC users

Problem: The CorText toolbar does not appear in Word 2000.
Solution: Copy the Cortext.wll file from the Word folder, which is located in the CorText2 folder, and paste it in the following directory: C:\Windows\Application Data\Microsoft\Word\Startup. Launch Word, the toolbar will now be displayed.
Problem: CorText does not stop at each sentence:
Solution: - Open CorText
- Click on the Preferences icon
- Click on Display
- Make sure the "Stop on all sentences" box is checked
Problem: The Larousse display stays in my screen's background.
Solution:

Modify the display parameters.

- Click on My Computer
- Click on Control Panel
- Click on Display
- Click on the Settings tab
- In the Colors drop-down menu, select 16 Bit
- Click on Apply

Technical Support for Macintosh and PowerMacintosh users
Problem: Once CorText is installed, the CorText toolbar does not appear in Word 98.
Solution:

If the CorText toolbar does not appear in Word 98, it is likely masked.

Follow these steps to display the toolbar:
Select Toolbars from the View menu.
A window will open.
Select Palette 101.
The window will close and the integration toolbar will be displayed.
If the toolbar is still not displayed and the Palette 101 element is not visible, perform the following procedure:
Select Templates and Add-Ins from the Tools menu.
A window will open.
Check the MSWord*101.wll check box.
Click on OK to validate your selection.
If MSWord*101.wll is not displayed in the Templates and Add-Ins window, perform the following verification:
Make sure that there is a Startup folder and that it is located in the Office folder; the Office folder is located in the Microsoft Office 98 folder.
If there is no Startup folder, then one must be created and put in the Microsoft Office 98 Office folder.
Next, open Word 98.
Select Preferences from the Tools menu.
A window will open.
Click on the File Locations tab.
Double-click on Startup.
Select the Startup folder that you created and click on Use Selected Folder.

Problem: Once CorText is installed, the CorText toolbar does not appear in Word 2001.
Solution:

The CorText toolbar must be manually installed in the Word 2001 startup folder.

Before proceeding, you must make sure that Word's startup path is correctly configured:

- Click on Tools
- Click on Preferences
- Click on the File Locations tab.
- Click on Startup
- You should see the Word folder in the Startup Location folder. If it is not the active folder, you must get the Word folder from /Microsoft Office 2001/Office/Startup and then click on Use Selected Folder.
- Close Word 2001
- Copy the MSWord*CorText.wll file located in:... / CorText / Integrators / MSWord, using the Alt/Option key combination from the desktop
- Drag this file to... / Microsoft Office 2001 / Office / Startup / Word
- Open Word 2001
