| Problem

The serial number is not accepted at installation. |
| Solution
: |
Make
sure that you are using the serial number of the
version you are trying to install. It is important
to leave a space between each group of three letters.
Example: xxx xxx xxx xxx (do not insert dashes between
the groups of letters and do not use the keyboard's
right arrow key) |

| Problem

When
applying a correction from inside Word 7, 97 or
2000 the text is offset or staggered. |
| Solution
: |
Select
Options from the Tools menu in Word. Make sure that
the "Typing replaces selection" and "Drag-and-drop
text editing" boxes are checked in the Edit
tab. |

| Problem

When
in WordPerfect, the system prompts me for the bilingual
dictionary's location. |
| Solution
: |

Open the registry (Start - Run - and type: regedit)
(Start - Run - and type: regedit)
- Click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
- Click on Software
- Click on Corel
- Click on WordPerfect
- Click on 8 or 9
- Click on Third party
- Double-click on dll1 in the right-side window.
The path must be that of the IntWP8EC.dll file,
which is located in the El Corrector 2 WP folder.

- Click on the Preferences icon
- Click on Display
- Make sure the "Stop on all sentences"
box is checked |
