INTERNET SITE PRIVACY POLICY
documens
Corporation
("documens")
is pleased to provide its customers with information
on its Internet sites. You can rest assured that documens
spares no effort in protecting the privacy of its on-line
visitors.
documens
only gathers personally identifiable data, such as first
and last names, addresses, and e-mail addresses when
an on-line visitor voluntarily submits such information.
documens and its
divisions use this information solely for internal
purposes; it is not sold or transferred to third
parties.
Information
on cookies What
they are: cookies are messages containing information
that are saved by a server in a text file on the client
(your) computer. This server-and only it-can later
consult and change this information. The
creation of cookies is based on HTTP protocol, or Web
protocol. You will not see cookies everywhere though:
only a Web server is able to send them. A cookie, in
fact, consists of a set of variables (or fields) that
the client and server exchange during HTTP transactions.
These variables are then simply stored on the client
machine in a text file.
Cookies
are always linked to a domain name and a set of URLs,
therefore only a request coming from the same server can
access them. For
example, a server can either update or delete a cookie
using a CGI program. To do this, however, it has to
identify all the attributes. For this reason, only the
server that created the cookie can access it on the
client machine. A client can store a maximum of 300
cookies, at least 20 of which come from the same server.
Each cookie can store up to 4000 bytes (4
KB).
Cookies
and the documens e-shop: The documens
Web site (http://www.documens.com)
may use cookies: - for technical
reasons (server working properly), - for the proper
functioning of various on-line
applications.
documens does not, and will not reuse the
information contained in
cookies.
The documens
site
may feature links to other sites. We recommend that
you review the policies, including the privacy policies,
of any linked sites you may visit.
documens

documens

to comply with any law, regulation or legal requirement;
to protect the integrity of the site; to meet your requirements;
